[The Wisdom of a Distracted Mind] Tilt!

Now, I know the technique has become something of a cliche, but my god! I love to look at "tilt shift" photography.

If done right, it just baffles the noggin' and looks like models put together by someone with a cripplingly severe case of OCD.

Anyway, here's a Flickr collection of tilted and shifted snapshots. Some of these will really freak you out. And, if you're interested in the history behind this odd technique, Vincent Laforet, who is credited as it's creator, has an outstanding video explanation of the tilt shift style of photography.

I like it.
