A suspected bias attack on four Jewish subway riders has resulted in a friendship between the Jewish victims and the Muslim college student who came to their aid.
Walter Adler is calling Hassan Askari a hero for intervening when Adler and three friends were assaulted on a subway train in lower Manhattan on Friday night.
The altercation erupted when Adler and his friends said "Happy Chanukah" to a group yelling "Merry Christmas" on the Brooklyn-bound train.
The 20-year-old Askari said he tried to fight off the 10 attackers, giving Adler a chance to summon police by pulling an emergency brake. (Full Story)
Now, here's an example of someone doing it wrong:
"I didn't get into politics because I thought government had a better answer. I got into politics because I knew government didn't have the real answers, that the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our livesâ¦I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ."Yes. These words, given during a speech last Sunday (December 9th, 2007), are coming directly from the gurgling, god-soaked mouth of potential presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. In Huckabee's America, hate-filled, irrational subway beatings such as those mentioned above would be apparently justified since this brainwashed, twaddle-laden, Jesus freak is under the impression that America is something of a "Christian Nationâ¢," and the "rules" of Christians supersede the rules of other American citizens.
What an embarrassment to have this asshole running for president, huh? These ass-kissing pseudo-Christian morons don't even try to hide their contempt for the Constitution anymore, do they?
