[The Wisdom of a Distracted Mind] Bonus Picture.

I was kind of put off by the cardinal on the roof picture I posted earlier, so I thought some of you might enjoy this one:

In The Park

The park folks were clearing brush and dead trees, and they lopped the one down which this little branch belongs to. As I was wandering around in the woods with my camera, this thing stood out like a sore thumb as the sun filtering through the forest shone only on this little, mostly-dead, branch to highlight it.

If nothing else, it's got a pretty good tan, don't you think?
