Ooops...

Me not thinking good.    Today, it kind of seems like my brain started the weekend a little early.  In fact, I think it showed up and started Happy Hour sometime shortly after breakfast this morning.  Fortunately, I didn't deal with too much today or the conversations I may have had would probably have been something like this:

    "Hi, how are you?"
    "Lemon."
    "What would you like?"
    "Ooo...  Shiny things."
    "Excuse me?"
    "Lemon?"
"Sir?  You're in the shoe section."
    "Hehehe..  Underpants!"
    "Please go away."
    "Lemon!"

That's pretty much all I've been capable of today as far as getting a sparkle along a random dendrite.  My brain feels like oatmeal.  And not good oatmeal, either.  It's like the oatmeal my grandfather used to make whenever my grandmother got fed up with him and his nonsense and refused to cook.

  4. You need a fat line of cocaine.

Keep in mind that I only advocate this drug, and I'm not prescribing it.

  5. I just spent thirty minutes telling my husband that today is Thursday. It took him that long to convince me that it is Friday. He did this by telling me what I served for dinner on each of the last five nights. That's undeniable truth that, yes indeed, it is certainly Friday.

So, I wondered, what happened to Thursday...or was it Tuesday. He then told me exactly what I did each day as told to him by myself on each of those days. I am so touched that my husband actually listens to me AND remembers every meal that I toss him that I may even start doing his laundry.

    Nah!

  7. I had to look up 'dendrite'. I'll try to work it into my everyday conversation.

  8. "Dendrite" is perhaps my favorite word in the entire English language.  It's sexy like a sporty, red car.

On the other hand, it does sort of sound like a dandruff shampoo sometimes.
