In a bit of a rush today. For what it's worth, things are good, and I've been getting out trying to do everything that I couldn't really do when things were hurting. So, I've been out, and the clock's been ticking.
Anyway, here's Friday's picture.
It's nothing fancy, mind you. This is just one of a bunch of shots I took of the bluegills in my buddy John's pond last weekend. For bluegills, they're actually pretty big, and I suppose it's only a matter of time before we find out whether or not they're tasty! I just think it's cool in that there's the little fish making a play for some bread crumbs, and I don't think he quite understands that there's a bigger fish flying up to eat not only the bread crumbs, but his head as well.
Now, I was kind of surprised these pictures turned out at all. There was a ton of glare off the water, but the cheap-ass polarizer I slapped on the end of the lens just chomped right through all that annoying, unwanted light.
Okay... Lunch is over, and I've got to get back to my madness.

Yep, polarizers are excellent. It will be my next purchase methinks. That and/or an infra red remote.
