As you can see, they've begun to go to seed in the middle of May! Some of the trees around here have yet to get leaves on them, and here these weak, pitiful things are already going to bloom.
There's something so remarkably unfair about all of that.
Aside from that babble, I like this picture because it really stretches the capabilities of this small, but wildly wonderful little 50mm lens of mine. The depth of field is mind-blowing (look at all those blurry bits). Really. I'm just stunned that something that costs about $100 could be so sharp.
In other news, I'm kind of once again having a somewhat rough and achy day today, but I'll try to write more about that a little later in the week. But, no need to bother yourselves about that now.
