[The Wisdom of a Distracted Mind] Sorry Ladies...

I know... I should post a picture of a flower or something wildly pretty, and I've got hundreds upon hundreds of flower pictures, but, to be perfectly honest, I'm bored with flower pictures. So, you'll have to settle for this...

Waves at Night

It's still pretty, in my opinion. This is my first attempt at a very long exposure, and the clouds were moving pretty fast across the sky. Still, as cool as the clouds look at night, the maple tree in front of the house looks really cool with the streetlight lighting it up.

Anywho, the picture was taken on Friday night, and I'm writing this on Saturday and setting it to post on Sunday. See? That's the whole weekend.

  1. I'm sure I've already been here and left a comment for this pic!?
I believe I said it was good, and eerie.
Oh well, my head's been out of sorts for the last three days so maybe I imagined the whole thing.

  2. Actually, you did comment earlier, Barry.  I had a problem with a double entry here, and wound up accidentally deleting the wrong one.

So, your brain's working fine and dandy.

Now, my noggin, on the other hand, well...  let's just say it's a miracle I've not stepped on my own tongue so far today.

    Sorry for the confusion.

  3. Hi !!!!!! I have to say that I am rather glad you didn't post a picture of a flower or something pretty. I really like this shot its kind of dark and mysterious and haunting in a way. I really am glad you decided to take this shot it really is my favorite this time around. I wouldn't mind a few more haunting photos hint, hint, hint, hint

    Thanks for sharing this.

  4. In the flash of an eye, the weekend goes by.

I like it:)  Well, I like the photo.   I prefer my weekends extended, not flashing by.

  5. I love this picture.  Your journal is always fun  - I stop by frequently, but this is my first post.  Thanks for being willing to share so much of your distracted mind with the rest of us - it is always refreshing.
