Only in Wisconsin.

Man...  Summer just can't get here soon enough.  People are getting too damn crazy around here, methinks.

Annual couch ride proves dangerous for three men in Pierce County
An annual ritual of riding a couch that is being towed behind a pick-up truck across a pasture proved to be a bad idea for three men early Sunday morning. (Pierce County Herald)
A bad idea?!?  What could possibly go wrong?

  1. To be fair, two of them were Minnesotans.  And, lord knows those dang Norwegians think nothing can kill them.  They eat lye soaked fish for pete's sake!  LOL  I would hate to be the wife or mother of one of these gems...

'Yes, I'm Mrs. Doe here to see John Doe, you know the couch riding stupid ass. What room?'

    be well,

  2. I prefer sledding behind snow mobiles myself, but I suppose that's notquite as workable when the season shifts.  Hmmm, maybe water skiing behind a boat on a lake.  Yeah, that's it.  -- Robin

  3. K, I'm still laughing over Dawn's comment. They wouldn't say if alcohol was involved.......Gotta tell you I would surely hope someone would if it where me. Otherwise it just chalks up to stupidity. Drunk or Stupid you pick....(Hugs) Indigo

  4. Well, this is Wisconsin.  So, it's pretty much assumed that alcohol is always involved.  In fact, the only time the newsfolks ever mention alcohol is when it ISN'T involved.

  6. that is really cabin fever to the max!
My kids used to go "field surfing". They would get on a board pulled behind a tractor. I like the couch ride much better!
