Day Off...


    Hey!  Well, my paws are still giving me fits.  At this point, it's kind of like a toothache.  It's just a constant annoyance of an ache that is slowly spinning me into a very grumpy mood. 

    So, consider this a proverbial "open thread" to talk amongst yourselves.  And, to get the conversation started, please share your thoughts on the following word:

    I love purple... it is my daughter's favorite color.  It is my cousin Karol's favorite color.  They were both born in February, and it is their birthstome amethyst too!  

    I am sorry your paws are hurting.  So are mine if that helps any.  On the back of my left hand, in between the first and second knuckle I have a HUGE lump... and it hurts.

    Hey... do you have vicodin?  It doesn't make the pain stop but it does help you care a lot less!  LOL

    A mate of mine fell asleep at a Deep Purple concert, way back in the seventies. At the time they were reputed to be the loudest band around. Now isn't that interesting?

    Purple is a color I wear a great deal, mostly because it looks so good on me! It also makes me think of that poem "When I Am Old, I Shall Wear Purple." Of course, I have to ask, "Why wait till I'm old?" Purple also makes me think of the blueberries growing in my yard, ripening. By the end of June, we will have a new batch of the nicest, sweetest blueberries ever. Yummy!

    Purple.  Purple/lavender underskirt and bloomers on L's new Irish stepdance solo dress Sunday.  Dark purple dresses and sequins.  Purple skies in sunset.  Purple makeup which I actually look good in, lol, when I wear it.  purple capes for my dance groups costumes I wore just Monday.  I like purple.  Doesn't seem as much an early summer color, but perhaps it should be! :)

    Purple is my favorite color, its the name of a book and a movie, its a color in the rainbow and its even been a M&M.

    Nah... you are 'officially' old when Deep Purple is one of the LAST things to come to mind because of your kids, their likes, dislikes and Purple Dinosaurs... LOL  

    I know this because I AM older than you, and I love Deep Purple!!  LOL

    ugh...purple is SO annoying here.  and so non-deserving of the gold with which it has been paired.  seriously.

    anyway, thanks for the b-day note.

    i'm getting oooolllldddd...gray hairs and all.
