Eau du Doh...

AOL News - Love That Play-Doh Smell? Get the Perfume

Now, I know there are people out there who do like the smell of Play-Doh (personally, I'm more of a Silly Putty man, myself), and perhaps there are people out there who wouldn't mind putting on a little dash of "eau-du-Doh" before a night out on the town.  But, let's not get out of hand, okay?  I mean, too much of this stuff wafting through the air, and I'm certain we'll soon find ourselves wrestling with nostalgia for all things Kindergarten and pre-school.  And, I don't know about you, but when I reminisce about the joys of Kindergarten, two things come to mind: milk and crackers and nap time.

Another drawback is the fact that if I am out on a date with a woman who smells like this ersatz-modeling clay, I don't know if I'll be able to successfully fight off the urge to put her on the floor and roll her out into a gigantic snake --the limit of my Play-Doh sculpting abilities.

On the other hand, if you'd like a nice, spine-crackling massage, this might just be the stuff to fool your man into giving you one.  "Honey?  Just close your eyes and pretend you're building a Play-Doh race-car."

  1. HaHaHa!!

Does it have that kick-ass salty taste like Play-Doh, because if it does put some of that on and let me lick you. (not that I ever tasted Play-Doh)

    Gross.

Actually the entire idea of going on a date with a salty and smelly man doesn't quite spark my interest, but hey, what ever tickles your pickle right?!?

  3. Yes, I do have a job, Katerh99.  Why do you ask?  Do only the unemployed write about Play-Doh scented perfume?  :)

  4. I confess I LOVE the smell of fresh play doh...maybe it is all the years of playing with it with these kids of mine. But dab a little eau de play doh behind my ears? I don't believe that it will get the response that I am after.
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I might have to investigate that view from the dryer...if the temp here ver dips below 90....I'm already hot, why do I want to take a pic in a hotter dryer?
    Have a great day!

  5. Oooo....  90 degrees.  I don't think it'll get to 90 here until the last week of August.

  6. Am I the only one that's tempted to actually BUY this stuff?! I LOVE IT!  What's next?!  Paste pate for crackers? Edible crayons? Paper mache soup?   Too cool!

  7. Haven't there been bunches of studies showing that men are aroused by smells of things that they like to eat? Which is why vanilla-based perfumes and oils are so popular? So, Holly, if your husband was one of those kids that ATE the Play-Doh, then go for it!
