The Undead Popcorn!

Creeeeeepy...
Oh man...  I am NOT going to sleep for a week.  Every time I close my eyes, I will see this face.  It's the dried, cold, lifeless, zombie-esque visage of Orville Redenbacher Undeadenbacher.

In a moment of terrifying advertising madness, some less-than-brilliant ad-execs brought the old popcorn magnate back from the dead with a digital double who grooves on an MP3-Player while preaching the wonders of microwave popcorn (
here's a link to the ConAgra site with a link to a very short video).  However, as you can see in the picture, this new Orville Undeadenbacher looks a little less interested in the popcorn he's selling and far more interested in eating your delicious brains.

So, keep your eye out for this commercial, and for god's sake, keep the lights on and cover your children's eyes.

  1. LMAO!!!! Hahahahaha. OMG I thought the same thing!!! Were they trying to discourage you from buying their product. Usually they try to make it appetizing to say the least. If you look at his head it's too big for his body, ugh!! there's a thought an older version of Chucky!!! whaha. K, I'm shutting up now. And yes, I will try to remember Wisconsin, not Wyoming. hey, at least I remembered it was a W state. I was thinking you might want to get your brain copyrighted Dan. LOL, I'm going, i'm going........Love Ya Indy

  5. I saw this commercial yesterday.  To say the least, it was very scary and at first I thought it was some lame commercial trying to sell mp3 players.

When I realized that it was an actual Deadenbacher commercial it blew me away.  Yeah, I won't be buying that stuff, it will just make me think of ol' Deadenbacher standing there (rotting) in the factory kitchen listening to his mp3 player.  Sheesh, I hope none of those nasty lil' flesh {{{gag}}} eating maggots got into the bags of popcorn they are trying to sell us.

This had to be the worse idea ever.  Well, until they hire Wacko Jacko to pimp the Big Brother ( http://www.bbbs.org/site/c.diJKKYPLJvH/b.1539751/k.BDB6/Home.htm ) volunteer program.  Hey maybe they could get Jacko and Michael Devlin to do it together!

    Have a good one!

  6. I can only imagine what will happen once Bob Barker kick's the bucket. He'll be the national spokes person for every tanning bed in the country. . .

    Oye.

Bob in a speedo lying in a tanning bed. . .

Not something I'd like to see.

  7. I SAW this, too!
    It freaked me OUT!
It looks like it wasn't done very well and Orville instead of looking "hip" looks Frankenstienish.

  12. This commercial is just plain freaky and weird and all things that are bad and evil. It gives me the willies. Maybe Johnny Carson will be back soon too, hosting the late show. Who knows.

  14. I saw this and freaked out!  It made my skin crawl! I've only seen it once, and afterwards I wondered if I had actually seen it right.  Have they maybe pulled it?  It's horrible!
