Hey you! Yes, you!

According to Paul, the second week of January is National De-Lurking week

What this means is that those of you out there who are dropping in should take a moment to say hello and introduce yourself.  And, if you've got a blog out there somewhere, please do leave a link, and I will definitely swing by your place to give your words and thoughts a gander.

Now, if you don't have AOL, you can either use the Gripe Line to leave a comment saying hello and whatnots (although, it's gotten a little silly over there with Dawn's talk of "dumbsticks" and Indigo chewing out someone for not liking fish --which is totally fair, I guess, since pretty much anything goes over there).  Or, thanks to Paul for pointing this out, you can get a free AOL email address here without having to download the Instant Messenger software or anything (Handy!).

The thing is, it's not a huge deal to me.  After all, I've been known to lurk and lurk and lurk.  So, really, it's up to you.  Just remember:  Lurkers do not get pony rides and free cake.

-DP

P.S.  Another edition of CarnivAOL is out for your perusal as well.  It's a short one this time around, but definitely worth the read.

  1. Thank you, and it wasn't over not liking fish, it was over sleeping with his girlfriends sister.........of course being a man, you probably missed that part as it's all thinking down below LOL!! k, some things do get me going. One is some little p***s head that thinks it's cool to cheat over something as dumb as fish. I guess anything goes. I happen to be an old soul, that doesn't get it. Call me a total commitment freak I guess. And no I'm not OLD!!! Far from it............Ugh!! This goose is cooked!! (Hugs)Indigo Catch ya on the upwind!!

  2. Well, I saw it as a joke.  I hardly doubt the guy would seriously sleep with his girlfriend's sister over something so small as a bad dinner.  In fact, he even told her he liked the fish.

  3.   Your link to the free AOL e-mail is bad. It did that to me, too. It's a secure site, so the prefix is "https" but when journals formats the link, it adds another "http" in front of that. You need to go in and edit the link in html mode to get it to work.
      Also: mmm, fish.

  4. Well, lurker I am not but, let me introduce myself, 'Hello, I am Dawn, and I am a dumbstick-aholic.'

The first step is admitting you are powerless over your addiction.  Ahhh... I feel better!  lol

    be well,
    Dawn

Well while lurking around I stumbled across the gripe which was humourous as well a great journal. I love the way you just let it all hang out. Great job and will be back for another good read which number three was a favorite of mine where I can identify with you.
