For those of you who haven't been following along, Jeff, one of the coolest motherfucking geeks on the planet, is on a limited arctic expedition in Iceland. I've been lurking around his Flickr photostream while he posts pictures of his insanity, and I have to say, I've been enjoying the hell out of his shots.
Iceland is one of those places I've always wanted to go to if, for no other reason, than to just wander around the ice and the volcanoes to maybe find some sort of somber inspiration in a land of such maddening extremes. It seems like a great place to go.
As for Jeff, well... He looks like he's having fun eating Iceland. Of course, I don't think you'd find me gnawing on a glacier (sensitive teeth, ya know).
Putting that glacier in a bucket of gin?
Yes.
Gnawing?
No.
Anyway, I hope your Saturday is going well and wild. If you find yourselves sitting around sweating on these hot, but dwindling days of summer, think of Jeff here, and give his pictures of glacial living a gander, and hopefully that can cool you off.

I thought of going to Ice land for a long weekend untill I saw the price of a beer. In your money it would be about $15
