Hiya folks!
Don't pay too much attention to this entry. I'm just trying to see how much I can get away with in terms of layout and alignment. I'd like to be able to post images and text in a much more aesthetically pleasing style.
I'm tired of centering things. It's always just so, umm... boring and it breaks up the pleasant flow of my screeching, marginally coherent scribblings.
The problem is that the way things are set up here on this blog, I don't have anywhere near the big, friendly space that AOL Journals offers. I mean, you guys don't know how lucky you are. You could park a bus in that text field. *sigh*
Anyway, for those of you who are curious, I'm using the span technique for aligning the photos. I nicked it from this blog on AOL. Hopefully it works here on Blogger, but, if not, I may just have to fall back to using the old standard of align=left or right.
Other than that, well... I need lunch. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well now... It appears that the span settings don't transfer from Blogger to here, but if I go back in and jiggle the wires a bit, it works. I'll have to see if I can suss that out.

Lunch? Tuna salad....pj.....balony and pickles.....beer..... oops, to early, has to be after 4 pm...
ReplyDeleteIt has to be after four?!?
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of crazy world are you living in where people can't drink beer until after four?
Tuna salad sounds awesome! I think I may just have to whip up some. Thanks Katers.

Well, you're having MUCH better luck than I have with AOL. It always looks alright until I save it to my journal...then it repositions itself AND changes my font and size! I tried using Google Docs also, but me thinks AOL has an agenda all its own. Drives me ape chit and bananas!
ReplyDeleteHey that butterfly looks like it's wearing a hardhat. I bet the color version is beautiful. Is it in color on your Flickr?
I was starving earlier and decided to make myself some french onion soup. I did, and it was excellent. I'm talking made from scratch, baked and the whole nine yards. Enjoy your tuna.

Dan, great job on the butterfly. I am not into fixing up phoios but admire what you are able to do, Bill
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill. Glad you like the pictures.
ReplyDeleteChar, I just uploaded the color version to my Flickr photostream. You can find it here:
