Hey!
So, I took this picture, and it was kind of a smidge goofed as a result of my incompetence, but I fiddled with it in Photoshop to add a whole different look to it.
Personally, I kind of like how it looks more like a painting than a photograph. Compositionally, it's kind of borked since the leg of that damned lawn chair stands out too much.
Anyway, leave a comment and tell me what you think. It's so freakin' quiet here, I'm climbing the walls.

Dan, I do not like it. Looks like the kid is missing teeth on the left side of his mouth and has a fungus or pus in his right ear. Hair looks like a wig. No i do not like it. Bill
ReplyDeleteLove the smiley eyes and golden hair. Bit of a shadow under that cute nose. But the chin! Oh, no. Looks as if he stretched a glob of bubblegum there. And lose the ear. Looks packed with cotton. And does he have a vintage 1950's apricot earring on? In spite of all this nit-picking, he sure is one cute little boy!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Don't sugar-coat it Bill.
ReplyDeleteThanks you guys. Like I said, I kind of like the effect, but yeah. There are some seriously botched spots. But, I thought it'd be fun to stick it up here and get some feedback and a well-deserved ass-kicking. hahaha..
Anyway, thanks again for the opinions. I promise. Tomorrow's picture will be better. And, hopefully, more normal.

Hi Dan, I like the effect but there's just something unsettling about the finished result. I think it's the dark eyes, they just give it a creepy feel.
ReplyDeleteB.
Hello !!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I happen to like this picture of the young boy he looks cute and I think that this needs to be framed. I wonder is this your nephew perhaps or maybe a friend's kid. You might not agree with my opinion but I do like it. I think that this should be hung the kid has a great smile and I enjoy seeing any young kid smiling in pictures.
I like it and I think this is wonderful so thanks for sharing it.
