Here Kitty!

    Here's a treat I got from BoingBoing.

A guy rigs a camera onto his cat and takes pictures of his daily adventures.  It's actually a pretty weird and entertaining perspective, and some of those pictures are quite stunning.

So, check it out, click the "tour" and enjoy a day in the life of a German cat.

DogCat definitely needs one of these, methinks.

  1. Oh how I would love to see the adventures of Dogcat... particularly on a day when the 'Fuzz' pick him up and bring him to the station for a while!  LOL

    be well,

  2. I caught my husband watching this last night. I mean, he was really WATCHING it and commenting upon "how interesting" it would be to follow a cat around like that. Yes, he does need to get out more. But maybe on DogCat, it would be interesting. Hmmm...

  5. I've seen one of these before.  A photographer from National Geographic who specializes in these types of mini-cameras on wildlife, visited with a group of students (including my DD, and I was one of the chaperones that day).  An urban (DC??) cat was hooked up.  It takes a very special weight and type of camera.  This cats owner had now idea -- the cat was catching up to 4 rodents a night sometimes.  We also got to see similar cameras on the backs of sharks and penguins, it's more established reasons.  Really cool stuff.  :)  -- Robin
