Hilarious! Someone owns the copyright to a version of the Bible (The Revised Standard Version).

It's almost as though it was a --I don't know-- a work of fiction, perhaps?

    Think about it, it's a Revision. Meaning changed, modified, or a variation of. So either way you put it, according to this thinking it's not an original to begin with; But rather their version of events. Like anything else that is supposedly historical, the more hands the information passes through the more you stray from the original actual record of events. Who's to say what the original actually did say???
