Inasmuch as I'd like to see members of the Bush Neocon Cabal dragged out in chains and leg-irons for their shadowy and underhanded destruction of the Constitution and America as a whole, I think the fact that Karl Rove is willingly stepping down is still enough to give me a certain warm, fuzzy feeling as it's nice to watch Bush's sphere of chums steadily shrink.
It's somewhat delightful to see the rats jump from the sinking ship that is the Bush Administration, and when it comes to rats, Bush's buddy Karl "Turd Blossom" Rove is a pretty big one.
Of course, I do wonder just what effect, if any, this will have on poor, lonely Dubya? His administration is coming unglued, and in the face of the swirling tempest of an increasing number of controversies, those who can jump are doing so. And, without the protection of a loyal Bush White House, what will happen to Dubya's little buddy in the face of the ever growing number of congressional subpoenas?
Nonetheless, Karl rove is a sleazy son of a bitch, and the damage he's done just in terms of campaign tactics alone has turned America into a stinging embarrassment of a democracy. In 2001, Rove helped get Bush appointed to the position of president. From then on out, it was a never-ending onslaught of fear and lies and the outright terrorizing of American citizens to help keep Dubya in power.

I keep thinking all those flashbacks they promised me are finally coming to pass as every day I feel I am seeing the Nixon administration all over aggain
