This is Odd...

Yes. I know. I've been obsessed with my apple tree as of late (in my defense, there are apples pretty much everywhere). But, before I abandon the apple-based pictures completely, I had to share at least one last photo with you.

It caught my eye this morning as I was lugging out the garbage, and it first struck me in one of those odd ways where something just doesn't fit right with one's perception of reality.

So, I looked a little closer and noticed that there was an apple stuck to a leaf and dangling down.

Weird, huh?

I mean, normally, I'll find leaves and whatnots stuck in spiderwebs, but I don't know if I've ever seen an apple stuck to a leaf.

Anyway, it was a little tough taking a picture of it since it is still a leaf and there's a bit of a breeze, and I'm not exactly the best of shutter-snappers, but I think I managed to catch it somewhat decently (but there's a mountain of bad, blurry pictures).

Of course, now I'm wondering which will give out first: whatever it is that's holding the apple to the leaf, or the leaf itself.
